Ingredients:
⦁ 1 kg of lamb or chicken, in pieces
⦁ 2 cups basmati rice
⦁ 1 onion, chopped
⦁ 3 cloves garlic, minced
⦁ 1 teaspoon turmeric
⦁ 1 teaspoon cumin
⦁ 1 cinnamon stick
⦁ 4 cloves
⦁ 1/4 cup toasted almonds (optional)
⦁ Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
⦁ Cook the lamb or chicken with water, onion, garlic and spices until tender. Reserve the broth.
⦁ In a pot, fry the rice with a little oil and then add the reserved broth. Cook over low heat until the rice is ready.
⦁ Serve the rice with the meat on top, garnished with toasted almonds.
