- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp toasted sliced almonds
Instructions
Steam 1 cup of broccoli florets for a few minutes. In a bowl, combine the steamed broccoli with 3 tbsp toasted sesame seeds, 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and 3 tbsp toasted sliced almonds. To toast the sesame seeds and sliced almonds, place them in a pan over medium heat and stir constantly until lightly browned.
Remember to steam the broccoli for just a few minutes (about 3 minutes) to retain its nutrients. Broccoli is rich in sulforaphane, known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties
