Ingredients
- 450g Green Beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 4-6 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt, pepper
- Red Chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 5 cups of water to a rolling boil
- Blanche the green beans by placing them in the boiling water for 3-5 minutes (depending on thickness).
- Drain the green beans and quickly rinse in very cold water to halt the cooking process
- Heat olive oil in a sautée pan. Add beans, garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes (if desired). Cook for 2-5 minutes until beans are warmed through but not yet wilted
