Pa amb Tomàquet (Bread with Tomato)

Ingredients:

⦁ 4 slices of country or rustic bread

⦁ 2 ripe tomatoes

⦁ 1 clove of garlic (optional)

⦁ Extra virgin olive oil

⦁ Salt to taste

Instructions:

⦁ Lightly toast the slices of bread.

⦁ If using garlic, lightly rub a peeled garlic clove over the warm bread.

⦁ Cut the tomatoes in half and rub each half on the bread, coating it with the pulp.

⦁ Drizzle with a generous splash of olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

⦁ Serve with cold cuts such as fuet, ham or cheese, if desired.
